Where's the Summer gone?

Yes we are well aware that time waits for no man. While I sit writing this I can not help but think that my summer is being whittled away by grocery shopping, yard work, visits to the park, the museum and the doctor. I have an obligation to teach and research this summer and my students have certainly helped me to engage myself in a considerably self-motivated discipline. I've set some deadlines and goals which I hope to meet but here again..time waits for no man. Sometime the energy spent aggregating all the chores and duties needing to be done makes time move much faster. Before time runs out I plan to sit and stare into the distance to slow time down if only for a day.
