The University Center (UC) was teaming for two hours with teachers, administrators, parents and students looking to see what Xavier has to offer to the prospective college student for this summer and the coming Fall 2007 semester. Our Chemistry Department as well as other Departments at the university invited prospects to view literature and take tours of their departments and the Xavier campus.
The Chemistry Department engaged some of our most enthusiastic and accomplished majors, who are moving into their 2nd or 3rd year, to lead students around campus and discuss the ins and outs of being a chem major at Xavier. Students and faculty in chemistry were glad to share information with so many curious visitors with interests in pursuing degrees in pharmacy, chemistry, biology and physics.
